When Love Comes: Music From The Motion Picture (OST)

Taiwan film When Love Comes is the sixth and latest from acclaimed director Chang Tso Chi (The Best of Times). The family drama follows the life of a teenage girl (played by newcomer Li Yi Chieh) who develops a different understanding of love and motherhood after getting knocked up and then ditched by her boyfriend. The international film festival favorite created a lot of buzz when it topped the nominated films for the 2010 Golden Horse Awards with a record-matching 14 nods, including Best Feature Film, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, as well as Best Original Film Score and Best Original Film Song.
The Original Soundtrack album for When Love Comes contains the poignant film score from renowned musician Wu Ruei Ran (Monga), who gives Taiwan film music a new texture with his use of piano, accordion, and strings. The album also comes with the film's theme song The Other Side, which is written and composed by F.I.R.'s producer Lin Shang De and performed by Li Yi Chieh.
